The Royal Mint presented us with a brief to create a pop up shop to showcase their merchandise and give their brand a more modern approach.
There is a common stigma directed at the The Royal Mint as being outdated and higher class. I decided to approach this project with an open mind and make the brand more abstract for the public to second guess their first opinions on the brand. The design was to focus on interaction, making the individual feel as though they're part of the experience instead of being only a viewer.
I was inspired by the idea of a treasure hunt and the individual being able to hold the coins physically. I created three walls all within the same theme, but having varied dynamics on how a person would discover a piece of merchandise.
